TV Liecense

It's been a little while since my last post, life's been very busy what with all this recession business. Still life goes on thank God.
Am I the only one who thinks it high time that the BBC channels should now become pay per view so we have a choice if we want to view them or not, instead of having this underhand TV tax. Which gives high paying salary's to jobs for the boys in high places!!!
We have the technology in place to switch with little interruption, so let's see how cost effective the BBC really is. As far as I can see we now have 4 channels to veiw repeats on, ho I am forgetting they did buy the rights to view football highlights on match of the day. Yippee didn't they have enough of our money to capture the F.A. cup rights or would that have meant pay cuts for these high earning executives?
Am I being too negative here is it really a good thing that we have channels that don't have adverts? Or is the price to high at £142.50? Why the 50p how did they come to that figure? Now that makes me smile.
Let me know your views, maybe we could start a campaign after all according to the media; we are the most taxed country in the EU.
